To ensure you get the best possible use out of your replacement strips, we've put together a list of helpful tips. These will help you achieve the perfect result and maximise the durability of your tape-in extensions:

Cleaning:
Before attaching the new adhesive strips, it is essential that the base of your tape-in extensions is completely clean and free of oils. To remove glue residue, an electric tape remover is particularly effective. Alternatively, you can clean it with your fingers. To make removal of the adhesive easier, applying a little baby powder can help. Once the old adhesive has been carefully removed, wash and dry the extensions before attaching the replacement strip.

• Exact positioning
  Precise placement of the new tape is crucial for optimal adhesion. Make sure that the adhesive strip sit exactly on the base of the extension and is not placed crookedly. Press it firmly into place.
  When it comes to classic tape-in extensions, you should make sure to position the replacement tape on the roughened side. This ensures a firm hold. If you are using invisible tapes, the adhesive strip has to be on the side where there is no hair. Carefulness in this step pays off.
  The extensions should only be applied to your hair by trained hairdressers or by professional extension stylists.
  
  
• Care instructions
  For optimal care of your extensions, we recommend our specially developed hair care set. This set contains products that are tailored to the requirements of tape-in extensions. After installing the extensions, you should make sure not to wash your hair for at least 48 hours. You should also avoid washing your hair upside down. Products such as oil or conditioner must not come into direct contact with the adhesive. This could impair the adhesive strength even with the super tapes.
