How many strands of hair extensions do I need?
We are often asked: "How many strands do I need for a full hair extension?" This is a question that must be answered on an individual basis, as the number of extensions you require primarily depends on the density of your natural hair. The thicker your hair, the more extensions you will need; otherwise, the transition may be visible – and that is not the purpose of hair extensions. For thin to normal hair, we therefore recommend 75 - 100 strands (3-4 packs of 25 strands each) for a complete hair extension, for thick hair - around 150 strands and for very thick and dense hair - around 200 strands. If you only want to add volume your hair, 50 grams of extensions, which corresponds to 50 strands, are usually sufficient.
