U-Tip Keratin Bonds: Hair Extensions with Keratin.
The so-called U-tips are U-shaped keratin bonds, also known as half-shell bondings. This shape is particularly suitable because the strand of natural hair can be placed directly into the half-shell bond and attached with a heat iron or an ultrasound device (ultrasound method). In addition to U-tips, there are also other shapes, such as I-tips and V-tips, but the way they work is basically the same. As soon as the keratin has melted, it is rolled together with your own hair and the keratin bond looks round in the end - a kind of pen shape. You can also shape the keratin into a flat shape. Since our customers prefer to work with U-tips, we have only been offering U-tip keratin bonds for over 10 years.
