For an uncomplicated preparation of the tape-ins

Tape-in extensions are one of the most popular methods of hair extension. They are quick to install and can be used multiple times if well cared for. However, for a natural look, it is important to regularly move up the hair extensions. This is where the flex tapes come into play.
After 6-8 weeks you should remove the extensions and have them reinstalled using the replacement adhesive. Our flex tapes offer a perfect combination of reliable adhesion and easy handling. They adhere strongly and ensure that the hair extensions sit firmly in your own hair. At the same time, they can be removed easily and without residue, which makes removal a pleasant process.
The flex tapes are already cut to size. With a size of 0.8cm x 4cm, they fit perfectly on the base of our tape extensions. They can also be used for Invisible Tapes.

Instructions for use

Cleaning: It is essential to clean the tape base of your extensions before applying new adhesive strips. Ensure that the surface is free from oil residues or styling products. To completely remove any old adhesive, you can use an electric tape remover. Once the old adhesive has been removed, wash the strands and blow-dry them before applying the new tape strip.

Positioning: Make sure that the new adhesive strip is placed precisely on the base of the extensions to ensure a strong bond. The tapes must not be stuck on at an angle. With classic tape extensions, it is important that the replacement tape is placed on the roughened side of the strand.

Durability: Press the new adhesive strip firmly so that it stays in place. The extensions are then ready for use again.


Care: We recommend our specially developed care set for cleaning and caring for the extensions. These products are tailored to the needs of the extensions. It is advisable not to wash your hair for the first 48 hours after installing. You should also avoid washing your hair upside down. Make sure that things like conditioners, masks or products with a high oil content do not come into direct contact with the glue. Removal: The bond remover is required for removal. Pull the two tapes apart a little and spray the solvent between them. The pieces can then be carefully pulled apart. You can find more detailed instructions for the removal process on the bond remover product page.
