Efficiently removes keratin bonds and tape adhesives

When hair extensions are applied correctly, they remain secure and durable – tape extensions typically last 6 to 8 weeks, while keratin bonds can last up to 3 to 4 months. If the extensions have grown out too far, a suitable remover is necessary for safe removal. This specially developed solvent ensures both effective and gentle removal. Weft glue and wax bonds can also be removed using this product. To prevent hair damage, we recommend that extensions be removed professionally by a hairdresser or a trained extension specialist.

What is a remover?
The bond and tape remover, also known as a solvent, is a specialised product developed specifically for removing our tape and U-tip extensions. The hair remains undamaged during the process. Thanks to the precise dispensing tip of the convenient 50 ml bottle, the solvent can be applied accurately, allowing for targeted application.

Benefits at a glance:

  1. Gentle on the hair
The gentle formula does not damage the skin or hair while the hair extensions are removed effectively.

  2. Easy to use
The practical dosing tip facilitates precise application.

  3. Versatile
The product is suitable for removing tape and bond extensions as well as wax bonds and weft adhesives.

  4. Helps to remove adhesive residue
In combination with a fine comb and subsequent hair washing, you get clean, residue-free hair.

How to use the remover:

For keratin bonds:

To remove keratin bond extensions, you will need removal pliers as well as this solvent. If the bonds are particularly small, you can alternatively use our nano ring pliers, which are smaller than the removal pliers - if that suits you better.

  1. Section the top layer of hair so that you can work specifically on the keratin.

  2. Shake the bottle before use and drop the remover to the keratin. Allow it to sit for approximately one minute.

  3. Crack the bond with the pliers and carefully pull out the strand.

For tape-in extensions:

Tape-in extensions are particularly popular due to their comfortable feel and ease of application. However, it is important to use a suitable solvent to remove them gently.

  1. Section the hair.

  2. Shake the bottle well and drip the product between the tapes after pulling them apart slightly.

  3. If needed, massage the tapes lightly with your fingers to help the adhesive come off more easily.

  4. Then pull the tapes apart. A tail comb can help to separate the two tapes.

  5. If necessary, adhesive residue in the client's hair can be treated with the solvent and combed out using a fine-toothed comb.

Who is the remover suitable for?

  • Professionals: Hairdressers and stylists who want to achieve efficient and reliable results.

  • Private users (conditionally):We recommend having the extensions removed professionally. If you remove them incorrectly, you could damage your own hair in the worst case scenario. However, if you approach the matter with a lot of caution and patience, you can remove your extensions yourself. It is best to get a second person to help you, as otherwise it will be difficult at the back of the head.

Useful tips for removing extensions:
  • It's best to work strand by strand. Don't pour the whole bottle on your head at the beginning, but concentrate on smaller sections.
(For tape extensions: After a strand has been removed, the adhesive residue should be removed from your own hair directly at that point before moving on to the next strand. This will prevent the hair from sticking together too much.)
  • After removal, wash the hair and treat it to an intensive conditioning treatment to counteract dryness caused by the alcohol.
(With tape extensions, the hair should only be washed after the adhesive residue has been removed as best as possible.)
However, if you want to install new extensions immediately after removal, the hair must be free of any product residue.
  • If you are prone to allergies, perform a patch test on a small area of skin before using the solvent for the first time to ensure no reactions occur.
