How to Attach Invisible Tape-in Extensions
- Divide your hair into sections and pin it up.
- Start from the bottom of the head.
- Place the first tape underneath the section of hair, then apply the next one directly on top. Continue this process until the tapes are applied across the entire head.
- A specialised bond remover is required for removal. If the hair is to be reused, new tape strips will need to be purchased.
Care Tips for Invisible Tape-in Extensions
You can reuse invisible tape extensions multiple times and also combine them with conventional tape extensions. To ensure that they stay beautiful for as long as possible, you should follow these tips.
Chlorine and salt water can affect the adhesive, so always tie them up when swimming.
Never brush your extensions from the top – start carefully by detangling the ends and slowly work your way up.

What is the difference compared to the “Tape-in Classic”?
The ‘Invisible’-tapes are tape-in extensions where the tape is covered with hair on the outside. This makes the tape almost invisible. This is particularly beneficial for clients with fine or thin natural hair. Furthermore, the invisible tapes are thinner in terms of hair volume compared to classic tape extensions – but only in the following lengths: 35cm(14") and 45cm(18"). This can be an additional benefit for those with fine hair. You'll find the exact weight specifications in the product description.
Can you combine Invisible Tapes with classic tape extensions?
Yes! Invisible Tapes and Classic Tapes can be combined, even within a 'sandwich'. The width of the strands and the type of adhesive are the same.
Depending on the client, you can either combine the Invisible Tapes with the Classic Tapes, or just use the Invisible ones for the whole head.
Which replacement adhesive is suitable for Invisible Tapes?
For the Invisible Tape Extensions, you can use either the blue adhesive or the extra-strong 'super tape' with the yellow backing paper. It's the same adhesive that can be used for Classic Tape Extensions.
'Single Tapes' can be used if you want to apply a single extension strand. However, these are NOT intended for re-taping. Single Tapes are only suitable as a counterpart when you want to apply a single tape strand.
